Guiding Tours
If you visit one of our beautiful West Frisian towns or villages,
it is nice to be accompanied by a guide. Dutch Walk & Talk tries to
bring history on a convenient way to everyone. Not only dates or
summaries, but local history in interesting stories about people,
buildings and locations.
We tell you something about architecture of the typical Dutch way of
building houses, and try to find the restored highlights in a town
centre.
But also step into the present time: what about new architecture in
an old city centre? How do we build, how do we work, what are the
advantages or disadvantages of living in an ancient historical
centre?
Dutch Walk & Talk takes you on a guiding tour in Enkhuizen or Hoorn.
It is also possible to book us in Volendam, Edam or Medemblik.
A normal tour is 1,5 hour, max 20 persons, language English, German,
Dutch.
If you have a special request, you can book a so called ‘special
visit’. We then combine a guiding tour, with a visit to the interior
of 2 historical buildings, which are normally closed to the public.
